The Warrior's Heart

We've been discussing the book with our table groups.  Now it's time to branch out and find out what others that are reading this book think.  Take some time to think about a part of the book that would make for a good discussion.  It can be any part from the beginning to the part you read for today.

Tell about the part you read, give your thoughts about it, and invite others to share their thoughts too.

Here are some discussion stems.  Choose one of the following or make a similar type of post.

  1. I want to talk about the part where they had to get there beds checked. I thought maybe it was for something they were no longer supposed to have with them in there training time. The most interesting part to me is when they put you in the spot to decide what to do. I think this book is a okay read, what do you think.

  2. I want to talk about the pert where Juan Carlos died because of a broken bone/failure of caretaking. I thought that it was very sad and confusing. his leg was broken but no one knew how it was broken and when he was hospitalized he died because they took poor care of him. What did you think.

    1. I believe they could of helped him better. They didn't give him all the attention that was needed for him. A broken bone is no reason to die. I think that what you posted is great.

  3. I want to talk about the flashbacks, He has had a lot of flash backs, about his childhood, Him thinking how was he going to go to college, etc. Sometimes they are funny, They make me think back to when I was little. The most interesting parts is when he asks what would you do, it makes it feel like a choose your own adventure book.
