  10. I don't get why Steve's parents never thought much about him doing bad things at school when he was a kid. I'd think they would at least worry a little why he did things like that.

    1. In the book it said Steve's father had told his teacher if you can't keep him interested is your fault

  11. I don't understand how to book talks about one job he had and then it goes on to the next job that he had 5 years later.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I dont get why steve's parents didn't' really put attention to him

    1. She wanted Steve to have a bright future, with smart people. But in the end she realized that beggars can't be choosers, and that his new parents would be good to him.

    2. she wanted Steve to have smart parents so that he could have a good bright future ahead of him. But then she realized that his new parents would take care of him and give him what he needed.

    3. She want Steve to have a bright future for him in life.

  15. It kind of amazed me how he was picked on by the other students, because I thought he would be probably be popular. I was confused why they put Steve jobs for adoption.🙌

  16. I don't understand why his parents didn't try to enroll him in a higher class.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Exactly since he was bored so much.

      Delete
    2. Maybe because he didn't do his homework and they had to bribe him to the homework,

      Delete
    3. They probably didn't enroll him because of how many bad things he did in school.

      Delete
    4. They probaly didnt want to up him because he would have got pickedon.

      Delete
  17. I don't understand why he needed bribes to do his schoolwork. Also why his parents only let him skip one grade when he could have skipped more.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He wasn't having fun in school so when they bribed him he wanted to work for the bribes that they gave him.

      Delete
  18. What dose he mean when he says charming and gratingly abrrasive, sensitive and stunningly mean-spirited.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I didn't understand the part where they needed to bribe Jobs to do his work. Homework.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't either because needed to get bribed to do his work but he could skip more grades.

      Delete
    2. He got bribed because he was a trouble maker. In order to get his mind off of trouble he got bribed to distract him from being bad.Thats why.

      Delete
    3. He was not a good student so the only thing they had in mind was to bribed him

      Delete
  20. When Steve was in school what do you think you would of done if you were the theacher in the room with him?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I wouldn't have been so harsh but at the same time strict enough to make sure that he would be giving it his all.

      Delete
    2. I would be more understanding and try to teach him in the way he can understand. I understand better if math or any subject is put into music, maybe put it in a understanding he would understand.

      Delete
    3. I would try and teach him the best way that would work for him. Also I would probably he less harsh and try to put myself in his position.

      Delete
    4. I would have maybe noticed that he was different and done something about it. I'd think it would be easy to tell he was bored. That's why he pulled pranks.

      Delete
    5. If I were the teacher, I would have been very harsh on Jobs. I would have known that he could do a lot more than he was showing, and the harshness would have opened his eyes to the world.

  22. I don't get why he did drugs during collage it was a really bad decision. What do you guys think.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think he did it mostly because others did it and to impress people?

      Delete
    2. I think Jobs was doing drugs because other people were also doing drugs

      Delete
  23. he is very interested in tech he gets alot of loans from other companies do u guys think he really should be getting all this technology to build a computer

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I do because he made the world of technology bigger and bigger.

      Delete
    2. I think he should have been given the technology, or at least some. If he hadn't been given those things then he wouldn't have created the things he did.

      Delete
    3. But the reason why i dont think he should have so much tech to handle at a young age.

      Delete
    4. I think that he should have been given the technology, because if he didn't get them then we wouldn't be where we are in the world of technology today.

      Delete
    5. I don't know if he should but, I wounder what the people that turned him down feel like now seeing how successful he became.

      Delete
  24. I don't why he used drugs I think he hang out with the wrong people

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He must've been stressed out with all of the failures in his life. And was pressured into doing this.

      Delete
    2. He just wanted to try new things, and drugs happened to be a trend.

      Delete
    3. I don't understand why he was doing drugs because when he did drugs he was only setting himself up for failure. Why do you think he did this.

      Delete
    4. Yeah he wanted to releve stress by doing drugs and smoking.

      Delete
    5. Maybe he was doing them because other people were.

      Delete
    6. So he could probably fit in with his friends to "look cool".

      Delete
    7. I don't know why he used drugs but it was probably because of the people that he was hanging out with, he probably wanted to look cool and be popular.

      Delete
    8. I think he did drugs to to be cool and maybe because others did it so he wanted to do it to

      Delete
    9. If you go online you can find an interview were he talks about his drug use. I found it by searching "why did Steve jobs use drugs".

  26. The book doesn't give us that much background about Woz (only his collage years.) How do you think Woz got so interested in computers?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Because he got intrested in computer science and he got involved.

      Delete
    2. I think that technology was his best subject so he decided to take the field that he was doing the best in. And also I think that he thought that is wouldn't be very hard to make a smaller computer that functioned properly.

      Delete
    3. I think when he was young he want to know new things and in his age computers were so famous so he gave it a try.

      Delete
    4. From mabey playing the computer games that he could of had

      Delete
    5. They probably didn't give a lot of info because it's a biography about Jobs not Woz.

      Delete
    6. Maybe he was inspired by the new innovative inventions coming out when he was young

      Delete
    7. I agree with Paige, It is a book about Jobs and not Woz, but maybe they didn't have to information about Woz.

  27. If you were in the position of Steve Jobs during college? Where he needed permission to be in a class. I would definitely tell my parents and ask them what I should do before I drop out of college. Plus you can't get your money back.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It would be stressful. That might be why he did drugs, because of pressure and stress.

      Delete
    2. I would have told my parents and all that work their parents did for the money he need for college was a waste of time

      Delete
  28. I get that he was probably stressed but I don't get why he did drugs. What do you guys think?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think he was definitely stressed. He is a good guy, and he made good choices except for the drug use. He obviously wanted to go down the right path because of all the accomplishments he made.

      Delete
    2. Well, I think he may have done drugs because others did it? Or because he wanted to look cool.

      Delete
    3. I think he did drugs for fun and back then they might've thought that drugs enhance your mind.

      Delete
    4. I think he was hanging with the wrong people and that's what cause him to do drugs

      Delete
  29. Do you think that if Jobs wouldn't have done drugs, maybe his career would have been different? Maybe he would have met different people, or done different things?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes I do believe that if Jobs wouldn't have done drugs, his career would have been different. If he hadn't taken drugs, he might have been a little less laid back and would have gotten more work done incited of slaking off.

      Delete
  30. Why do you think that he choose to let himself go and not look professional besides his diet?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I can't believe how similar NeXT and Apple were. If he wanted to go back to Apple so much, that he made an almost exact copy of it, why didn't he just go back to apple?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think he just want to show the world that he was good with and without apple.

      Delete
    2. I think he didn't go back to Apple because he wanted to show them what he was capable of.

      Delete
    3. I think he created NeXT because he was so genuinely interested in computers and technology. The computers were similar because they both had the same creator.

      Delete
    4. I think that he created NeXT knowing that apple would want the company and that he would become a part of the team again.

      Delete
    5. He got sued by apple. It isn't going to be that easy for him to get hired back my apple. He wasn't fired by apple he resigned, to once in a life time job for apple. It's not going to be that easy.

      Delete
  32. What really shocked me was when he got fired from apple. What do you guys think was it right to fired Steve jobs.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes, I do. Jobs was becoming to much of a perfectionist, and just wouldn't let go the fact that he was kicked off of the Lisa team.

      Delete
    2. Yes and no, because he is the one who started the company and they wouldn't even be there if it wasn't for him. But yes because he was so picky and very hard to please.

      Delete
    3. No, I think it was wrong to fire Jobs. With someone working on computers like Jobs who is a perfectionist, the computers will for sure be their best. If no one is pushing the company, it wouldn't have been as successful as it was.

      Delete
    4. No I think that it was wrong to do that because when Steve was around Skully and the other workers he pushed them to do their best then it helped them accomplish great things together.

      Delete
    5. Well yes and no cause if you were to go back and change it it pbrobably would'nt be as good it was today

      Delete
    6. I think he should have been fired earlier because of his behavior

      Delete
  33. What really shocked me was that he knew he had cancer and that if he had surgery right away, he could have the opportunity to live 10 or more years. But he didn't have the surgery until the cancer spread. Why do you guys think he waited so long and do you think he would have lived longer if he did the surgery when the doctors recommended him to?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I guess there's no way to really know if he would have lived longer. If it were me, I would get the surgery. Maybe he didn't think it was as serious as it really ended up being.

      Delete
    2. He probably would've but seeing that Steve's stubborn and doesn't care it may have costed him.

      Delete
    3. I think he didn't believe it was such a big deal for him to get surgery.

      Delete
    4. We wouldn't know that he would live longer. Steve Jobs thought very wrong of opening his body and getting surgery. He's friend said to 60 Mins. Steve Jobs, finally said he wanted surgery but it was too late. The cancer spread to his Tissues.

      Delete
    5. when he knew taht he was dying maybe he wanted it to go by since he knew it was kwick and easy to go right then and there

      Delete
    6. He probably thought it wouldn't spread

  35. What surprised me was that Jobs didn't try very long to get his place at Apple back. I'd think that being as strong willed as he was, he would keep trying to get it back and talk people into keeping him on board.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think that maybe he thought that if he wasn't meant to be at Apple, he would know after he was fired.

      Delete
    2. I think he just wanted to be in charge and do what he wanted

      Delete
    3. I think that he knew that working for the company was very important.

      Delete
  36. I was surprised about how Jobs didn't try very hard and Apple, and sued him got his comment. If I was Jobs, I would try very hard to keep my job at apple. Since it's a very good paying. (It also depends on what department you work in apple) What do you guys think?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think he was just tired of it because all the fails apple has done and they were paying him the right amount

      Delete
    2. I think that he did care about his job, but he was just tired of being put down by all the apple fails he just kind of got tired of it and was pretty much completely worn out. Plus he knew what he wanted even though other people didn't want that. So maybe it was a good thing that he got fired.

      Delete
    3. I think when they fired him from Apple he actually got the time to think everything out and then came back.

      Delete
  37. I was surprised to hear that he still cared about apple because it sounded like he didn't. Why do you guys think that he started NeXT and bought pixar instead of just begging to be let back into apple?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He got sued. He probably didn't have the guts to come back to Apple.

      Delete
    2. Well since he got sued he probably was scared he would get sued again but i dont see why he would let that stop him he already had good money

      Delete
    3. I agree with Paige. I wouldn't come back ever again!

      Delete
  38. What really suprised me he had a kid and he didnt want anything to do with his kid he had all this money and could have supported his kid if he's gonna have a kid support it

    ReplyDelete
  39. I was suppressed when it cost it cost $3,000 to make a computer, but when it went up that really socked me. What do you think about this.

    ReplyDelete
  40. It shocked me Steve jobs named a project after his daughter Lisa and then some guy kicked him off the project and put him on another project.
