It's been a bit since you have had total freedom in your discussion. Chose anything from this part of the book that you would like to discuss. Make sure you explain it clearly so that everyone can understand what you want to discuss. Then reply to others' comments. If you want to do this while the thoughts are still fresh in your mind, do this when you get done with Jack's part of the story. We will also have time for this on Monday.
The thing i wanna discuss is the fact that the two finally stopped fighting and they made up. I still wanna slap him though.
ReplyDeleteBut he didn't know it was Auggie. But the thing is don't judge someone!! Like even tho he didn't mean to do that 'cause it was Auggie. But like you didn't have to be so mean about it. He could have just kept his mouth shut!!
DeleteI love how their wasn't any real FIGHTING like ''Oh you so mean" "no you started it!!" Like there wasn't as much of that it was mostly they just didn't talk for a few days..

DeleteNelson, but it was still the fact he said that. Even tho he didn't know it was Auggie and said that he shouldn't of said it anyways. It was a rude thing to say, to anybody!!

DeleteI think that Jack is a pretty nice guy. He likes Auggie but just didn't know what to say of him to his friends. But the only advice i would give him is that he should watch who he hangs out with and who he's friends with. Also that time when he punched Julian in the mouth, i think Jack should've told him a couple of "clean" words and maybe a slap even though i think that he deserves a punch(or two c;).
ReplyDeleteYeah like some people think something but say something different to their friends. Likeeeee, if you like someone but your friends don't you would probably just pretend not to like that person even if you do. It happens alot, but it's still the wrong thing to do.

DeleteI thought it was really nice that Auggie and Summer let Jack sit with them, but I thought it was really mean that everyone was turning on him..
ReplyDeleteWell the reason for that was because Julian was the jcok of the school and anyone would listen to the popular boy/girl of any school.

DeleteI think that i am going to pick the hollowen one because jack was nice to August at the time but then after a couple of chapters all he wanted to do was try to be cool but i don't think he was cool i think is not cool at all

ReplyDeleteI also thought it was nice of Charlotte to pull Jack to the side and let him know what's going on!! Like if she wouldn't have he wouldn't have known all the stuff they were saying!!

DeleteExactly! Good friends are supposed to fill you in on this kind of stuff like even if your not that close but are still friends enough to be hanging out most of the time.

DeleteI think this chapter was a really good one. First of all, I thought it was funny when Via came in and Jack thought she was hot and August agreed. Second of all, I thought it was cool how it had like a text chat history of them talking! Overall this was one of my favorite chapters!

DeleteI want to talk about when Charlotte told Jack about Julians big holiday party because Julian was a BIG FAT LIER about the whole Jack punching him Im wondering did Charlotte say anything about the whole problem of Jack and Julian because I would be super mad at Julian right now >:I

It's like girls with other girls, they bad talk their friend but then none tells them about it and then they don't know, They wouldn't talk about that one friend if she were there. So why would you if she was.

DeleteI want to talk about when Charlotte talked to Jack Will about Julian's party because Julian lied to everybody and now Jack only has a few friends than he did. If i were there i would go and punch Julian in the mouth harder because now Jack only has August Reid Max G. and Max W. as friends.

DeleteI think that jack is a nice kid. But he says things somethings that he doesn't mean. And i think Auggie understands that he really didn't mean it and gave him a second chance.

ReplyDeleteI like Jack but he should not have said what he had said some things just slip out of his mouth. Also I wanted to talk about how Charlotte called Jack to tell him that the war was going on and about Julians party. I think Charlotte likes him but anyways Jack is nice but should keep his mouth closed sometimes.
