I think Billlie Jo stopped writing in her journal for a little bit because it was to hard to think about her mom. Also, pencils cost money and they were in a huge depression. She need to help work and focus on other things.
I think Billie Jo didn't write a lot because everything and anything would remind her of her mom... It was just a hard time. And just thinking of her mom made her sad...
I think the reason she didn't write alot is because winter is coming so she needed to help get ready for winter. And also because maybe she just needed to help her dad plow up all the crops.
I think Billi Jo didn't write much because she might be depressed or sad and angry at herself. When i'm sad or angry at myself i rarely ever talk. I just keep my thoughts to myself so no one can judge them. I usually write down my feelings and i put them in old notebooks. Oh jeez, now i seem like loner.
I think she was just so depressed because Christmas was coming up, and they used to spend Christmas with each other, and this will be the first that ma wouldn't be there, billy is depressed.
I think Billie Joe stoped writing in her book for a while because she had so many questions about mad dog and she askes her dad if he knows his first name and she thought her mom would know and she thought about her mom and she felt depressed.
I think Billy Jo didn't talk a lot in this chapter because she misses her mom a lot, and lots of things remind her of her mom. And because that maybe she was busy with playing the piano.
I think Billie Jo was just upset and didn't really have anything to say about anything. It seemed that not much happened in Autumn. Also almost everything seams to remind her of her mother.
