ReplyDeleteI started out in Oklahoma. Then I met my neighbor, Boots. Next, I chose things going well, then keep the same size farm. After that, I headed west, and went to see who else was living there. Then, I had to work, and chose 'pictures are worth a million words'. Last, I chose a fresh start, and was looking for a non-farming job.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I started in Follet Texas. The first thing i did when I got there was I met my neighbor, Trixie. The I realized all is well. I kept the farm and continued to farm. But, I decided enough was enough I packed my things and moved to California. I was Westward bound. I went to see who else was living here. Then, I began to work. I decided this was my fresh start.

ReplyDeleteI chose Morton City, Kansas. Trains brought people by the thousands here. Then i met my neighbors Dale & Floyd. Everyone like going to their house. Things were still going well. Then when war broke out wheat were then sold for $2 a bushel. Grasslands twice the size of New Jersey were converted to wheatfields. War ended, so the wheat prices dropped but farmers never stopped growing wheat. Then i kept my farm the same size because everyone was expanding so wheat prices were bound to drop sometime. I kept farming and then a dust cloud appeared in the horizon. Next i went to the FDR & packed up and went west. The End.
