  1. I thought it was cool that the building still looked the same after a little under 200 years. Except for a few renovations this theater looked the same!

  2. I was surprised by how long of a jump it was from the box to the stage. I thought it was much smaller of a jump. No wonder he broke his ankle, it must have hurt to jump that far and then start running.

  7. I think the most interesting thing for me was the book tower at the Center for Education. It has 6,800 books about Lincoln, but there are still more.
The tower symbolizes that there will be no ''Last word'' or ''Last book'' written about Lincoln.

  11. I thought it was pretty cool that they had made a tower of books on Abe. In the article thinger it said the last final word would never be said about Abe.
It shocked me a lot actually because there were a lot of books there, i know that there are a lot of books out there but i never knew how many could be on Abe.

  12. The most interesting thing I found was that the theater used to seat up to 1,700 people, but now it can only seat up to 655 people. The reason for that is because they closed the second balcony or "Family Circle" down for whatever reason.

  15. What really interested me is the riding boots. On the day of the assassination Booth was wearing the riding boots and when he jumps out of the president box he had an injured leg. On April 15 1865 Booth came Samuel Mudd and see if he could do anything t his injured leg. So what Mudd did he had to cut open the boot so he could see what happen to Booths leg.

  17. I found out that before the Lincolns and guests got there the workers had decorated the box they sat in with flags and a picture of George Washington, the night of April 14, 1865. When the Lincolns and their guests got there the actors paused while the orchestra played "Hail ti the Chief".

  18. The most interesting thing I found was how far the jump really was. I thought it was only a one story place with The presidents box in the way back. But it was a long jump and it is a very cool place.

  19. One thing that interested me was that a man named Charles Forbes let Booth in the box

My thoughts: This leads me to think that maybe Lincolns killing was his fault, but maybe not because he didn't know. But wouldn't you think that he would be suspicious that someone is going into the box that he doesn't know?
