Part Of Book:Sniper School

Question:Will there ever be any more excitement.
I think there will be more excitement like the part where he makes the longest sniper shot in the world.

DeleteI read in Chapter 7 that he was in Sniper School. My thoughts about this was that there is way to much training in this sense the beginning of the book. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteI think that there was a lot of different training and exercises that help them become more prepared. I don't think there was too much training though because you had to go through Hell Week. But there wasn't too long of training.

ReplyDeleteMy thought: There was a lot of more traning. And he learned how to shoot a lot more further. He shoot up to 1,000 yards that's a lot.

DeleteI think there might be something cool because apparently he did the longest sniper shot ever.
DeleteYeah true he had to learn all the different techniques to make sure that he hit the target. I was surprised that he could or most of them could shoot that far and know how to calculate where the bullet would hit.
DeleteNoah that was the American Sniper not this book and I think they will get caught in an ambush and he has to like shoot people off of his own troops

DeleteNo Ben, that is actually from this book.if your read the first ten pages they talk about how if he gets him from that certain shot that will be the longest shot he had ever it.

ReplyDeleteMy Thought: I think it will definitely help him in the long run because you don't just get onto Seal Team 6 without putting in maximum effort throughout your career.
Question: What pushed to him through it all.
I think what drove him the most was when he wanted to be the best of the best.

DeleteI think what pushed him was that he just wanted to do something with his life and he didn't think that it was as hard as everybody else was.

Question: Why did they have to make their own ghillie suit? And why learn to stalk people like the way they did?
I think it is to be able to get info from the other side.
DeleteI think it is because they have to learn how to make it so if they lose the original they have to make one out of the stuff they have
DeleteHe has to make a ghillie suit because he may have to during battle so he can blend into his surroundings. If you make one ahead of time, it won't look natural. They have to learn to stalk so the can't be seen and so they can get as close as they can for and easier shot.
DeleteI also think it weird that they could have their suits made for them like no one has just random time to find all that

DeleteThey had to make their own ghillie suit, because if they were ever in a situation where they needed to be camoed out, he would have that experience of making his own ghillie suit.
DeleteHayes I think that he was strong because he was beat when he was young. Him mentally I think that he just wanted badly so he went through it all.

ReplyDeleteMy Thoughts: He had a rough childhood. I can't believe he was keeped in the dresser. His dad was so mean. I thought when he ran away it was going to work. I feel bad that his dad would beat on him.
Question: Why do you think he didn't tell anyone? And what are your thoughts about that?

ReplyDeleteMy thoughts: I think that when his dad/step dad beat him that it wasn't cool or necessary what so ever. I was surprised when he grew up he didn't blame his parents for not treating him when. He said it's not their fault that they weren't taught how to take care of a child. Also when his dad made him pick up those berries or nuts or something from the tree. If he didn't pick them up he would get beat. I don't even think that he would be able to do that.
Question: If his dad wouldn't have beaten him at a young age would he still be able to go through hell week? If his father was never there or not part of him life would he have made it through?
I also feel very bad for what he had to do at a young age.

ReplyDeleteMy Thoughts: I can't believe that he made it through this! He pushed through the whole thing never having felt that type of pain before. I was really surprised that after all of that, he still went through the sniper training and all. It is like he is never satisfied with what he is doing. Like when he was going through training and he failed the run by seconds, he went to the other training because of it and he knew that he never wanted to go back.
Question: Why do you think that he is so good at all of these trainings and what pushes him to keep going.

ReplyDeleteMy thought: I feel so bad for him he has gone throw so much as a child. He has gone throw so much and he still lives life to the fullest. He has changed his psat to make is fucher what it is.
Questions: I wounder what drove his parenst to abuse him as a child?
Yes i felt very bad for him also i think he did something really bad when he was younger or something like that i think thats why his parents are so mean.
