Now that we've taken a little time to look at constellations, lets take an in-depth look at constellations. We will do this by completing a WebQuest. The worksheet contained in the webquest is a PDF, so you will need to click on the google doc version that is located below. Make sure to save a copy and share it with me when you are done with the webquest.
When you are done, copy and paste your personal constellation story into the comment portion of the blog. Reply to at least one person's story.

He had a dog but this guy named Andrew was poor it was the only thing he owned.Then one day there was a challenge to win 100,000,000,$ but he wondered what it was about. So he walked his dog there. But when he got there it said in bold words:YOU MUST HAVE A DOG TO ENTER THIS CHALLENGE. He said i have a dog so if i days later he was there it was about to begin than everyone counted down 3...2...1… go then he did go but before he knew it he won but then a ball of rock came from nowhere and splat he was gone so they took his dog and threw it in the stars.

DeleteJacob is a smart greek boy not god his pet fish black wave is his trusty helper.He has not killed anyone with a sword or anything but he does know some martial arts till he becomes one of the greatest gods there ever was.Jacobs father is unknown but his mother is Stacyius (AKA Stacy).Jacob has had a lot of injuries and still does sor the greek god Jeannieus decides to put him up in the sky.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was playing basketball I shot a halfcourt shot. I must have thew it to hard because it went way over the basket and into the sky, then to space. If there are any other basketballs mine has a M in it. It is also yet to come back down. That is how my constellation got there.

DeleteCole was a fres warer of the wolf clan and he gave his life up for his leader so the elder gods sent him into the sky as a wolf that was put into the sky to remmber ever one what he did.
ReplyDeleteA long time ago there was this really kind snake. He always was helping people. But one day this really mean villager came into the hedgehogs store. He was panicking panicking so the slithering snake came to help.But he was too late the hedgehog vanished. And never to be seen again.He was in the sky because he was so kind and brave.
ReplyDeleteSomeone was out fishing one day, and they weren't catching anything. He wondered, and wondered why there wasn't any fish!! His friend laughed and laughed, but wouldn't tell the man why. Finally, he said the fish were hiding from him. The man didn't know what that meant. So he sat there thinking for hours until it was dusk. The man fell asleep in the grass under the stars. When he woke up, it was still dark to he looked at the stars and tried to find the northern lights. He couldnt. All he could see was a fish figure. Finally, he understood what his friend meant. The fish were hiding from him, in the sky. There was a bunch of fish, but together to make a big one. It was magical, he couldn't believe his eyes. But that is why he wasn't catching anything while fishing. They were all up there, in the sky.

DeleteOne day there was a large thunder storm. Everybody was just doing there own thing. But then all of the sudden a big lighting bolt came down and struck Earth. But the weird thing was that the lighting bolt never left the sky!!! It has never left!!! People always wonder how long it will be there for but we never know it could be there for millions of years!
ReplyDeleteI have a twin sister named Claire and her and I were in search of the legend Ipod. We didn't believe the myth at first but when were sneaking around we found a research facility that has a-lot of science materials.We snuck in and found the Ipod chip.But sadly before we left we were thrown to the ground and my sister got captured and the chip was taken away from me. Ever since then her memories are the only thing standing.

ReplyDeleteMy mythical creature is called the shark nado because when I sketched out the constellation and I drew a picture with it and it turned out to be a shark. So the reason why it was created was because there wasn’t enough sharks in the world but since the constellation went up in the air and got created more sharks had come but it was also a bad thing because when people went diving in the ocean or surfing then the shark would pop up and then people would ask who let the sharks out and I wouldn’t say anything!

Mine is a camel, his name is Caleb form the geico commercial. After he retired he fell down the grand canyon and fell to his death. But now his funny spirit will live in the stars, and on the internet.

DeleteOne night, the wiggly worm was feeling extra wiggly so he wiggled up onto the ground through the soil. A magical owl was sitting near and heard the sound of the pebbles moving, turned his head 180 degrees around to see what was happening. The worm asks,“Mr.Ow,l how does the world look up there? I can only see the ground right in front of me!” Let me show you, Wiggly Worm!!!!” Mr. Owl says in a magical voice. He swoops down, grabs the worm and flies up into the night sky. After a minute of flying, mr.Owl throws The Wiggly Worm into the sky. He becomes a constellation next to the stars, for all to see.
ReplyDeleteJesseus the great astronaut wanted to make and pilot the greatest spaceship ever. It took him several years but finally he finished it. Everyone wanted to see if it would actually work so it became the biggest event in history. Jesseus announced that he would be trying to go farther than anyone had ever gone before into space. Jesseus said his goodbyes and boarded his ship to everyones applause. Everyone cheered as his ship lifted off and rocketed toward space. But everyone suddenly gasped as the ship put on a very sudden burst of speed. Then it made an explosion so huge people could see it from space. The parts from the explosion had a chemical reaction with space and the parts formed stars. People say that the new stars formed the constellation Jesseus so that he could be up with stars which was where he had been trying to go.

ReplyDeleteOnce there was a space shuttle named Challenger. It was it’s 10th mission into space and 73 seconds after launch it fell apart. These 6 stars represent the 6 members from NASA. There was also a science teacher going up in the shuttle too to teach a couple lessons, but she didn’t know about the dangers as much as the crew members from NASA. The stars are there for remembering the NASA members who didn’t get to see the Universe. Their flight into to space had been delayed because of cold weather and when the day finally came to launch, they expected everything to go smoothly but either it was our careless pre flight check or the cold weather that caused the O-ring to fail, we will never know.
ReplyDeleteThere once was a great sailor and his crew that were heading North. While on their journey they caught fresh fish right from the salty waters of the ocean. The Caption was cutting up the fish for a great banquet when he cut his hand clean off! The crew was o goner without their caption and never made it to their destination. Today to remember them a hand is pointing North in the sky.

The name of my constellation is “Lightening Bolt.” It strikes people who are evil. If an evil person is struck by Lightening Bolt, he is given the heart of goodness.
ReplyDeleteGreytail is one of the bravest warrior in all 4 clans. Legends say that she never lost a fight. But one day one brave warrior named firestar wanted to fight her, she laughed then she started to crouch down and make her claws come out but then Firestar clawed her with one run before she could see it. when firestar looked at her he pinned her down and clawed her to death. her clan riverclan were surprised but then sad… one of the warriors redtail (Greytail’s mate) said to the clan have lost the bravest warrior. the leader leopardstar said that she with starclan now. when you look up in the sky you can see graytail in a heart of her strength and remember her bravery.

ReplyDeleteRecently scientists have found a very interesting thing. They think it might be a constellation. After years of studying scientists found out thats what it was. They also noticed it was shaped like a boot. It looked like something one of the seven dwarfs might wear. So they named the constellation boot,a plain and simple name. They think it got there by some kind of explosion, but there still figuring out where it came from.
