  1. Today is August 15th 2017 in a neighborhood right on the edge of Portage, Wisconsin. A family of four having a great summer day but when night hits something unexpected happens. Smoke rises out of the house as firefighters rush back in. The fire is destroying a house and everything that was inside of it. The whole thing is blackened and people are all gathering around the house to see what is happening. Then after all the drama happens the family of four is homeless, foodless and scared. After that night it took months to get the house back to how they wanted it and it took some hard work. But that family will never forget about that very night in August.

  2. Loud honks from cars, the smell of crisp spring air with a mix of macarons filled the air on a nice spring day in Paris, 3 homeless people sat against the high end shopping store louis vuitton on champs-Elysees street bundled in a nice fluffy blanket. People walking the street looked confused as to why these people were just sitting there, against one of the most expensive stores in Pairs but it turns out these paris citizens are super smart. They don’t have much money to spare but they do have time, so sitting in front of the most expensive stores might not be so weird after all. They figured going to louis vuitton would persuade people that do have money to spare to maybe consider helping them out. Usually when you see homeless people in a big city they are sitting in the not so high end parts of town usually holding signs like “Money is needed” and a lot of people think its super annoying but these three where smart and decided to change it up a bit. Hopefully they got some money or something to help them.

  3. It was a warm spring day, there were three homeless people huddled together under a blanket on the corner of Champs-Elysees street, sitting right outside a Louis Vuiton. Two of the Homeless people were men and one of them was a woman, the man on the left was begging for money, and the other man and women to his left were sitting there doing nothing, they were trying to get enough money so they could buy some lunch. The homeless people sat there watching the world go by, many people walked passed them and didn even bother to look.

  4. On October 12th and 13th in Wisconsin, the temperatures suddenly dropped. Many people were devastated to see the nice, warm weather go. Teams were still finishing up their outdoor seasons for the year. In some towns, big, white snowflakes even fell to the ground. Yet some people found the good in the early snow. That means this year there’s a possibility that winter will come earlier. The last few years in Wisconsin, the cold winter feel didn’t come until around Christmas time. One softball team had been playing that weekend of the temperature drop. They were wearing multiple layers of clothing, and space heaters were out. Many girls were complaining, “It’s cold!” This vivid, cold weekend was very unexpected to many people from Wisconsin.

  5. It was one of the biggest games of the season. Against Portage’s biggest rival Reedsburg. Everyone on the football team hated Reedsburg. The game was coming to a close with two minutes left in the fourth quarter and a very close score. Reedsburg was just about to score and they were at the seven. If they scored Portage would lose the game. Neither teams had a timeout. Reedsburg snaps the ball, they hand it off to the runningback. He gets a gain of two. The first down was at the three yard line. Portage stuffs the quarterback for a loss of one. Reedsburg gets a gain of four the next play. They got the first down. One minute left in the game. Plays were going rapidly and the clock was running the entire time. Five seconds left, the two yard line, the last play of the game. The quarterback hands it off to the runningback. He goes up the middle. Whistles blair. The game is over. Portage won. The whole team cheered and screamed. Sidelines were the loudest they had ever been.

  6. Last weekend 10-12-19 there was a lot of garbage on the ground around portage. “People do not care about the animals and throw the garbage anywhere they want” said Jaylen fink. The kind of garbage was cans and plastic cups. People think they can get away with it and no won will stop them. Let's put out more garbage cans out. Many animals choke on the garbage. Let's keep the environment clean.

  7. The Prank

It started with my idea, late at night, the day before Halloween to do a prank on my cousin. My cousin doesn’t like’s Halloween and I thought why not scare him on his worst day. So, I begged my cousin so go buy a costume. But he didn’t know that I already had my costume, a clown costume. When we arrived, we went in and I ran to the fitting room to put on the costume I had already bought. My cousin was finding a costume. And so, I walked behind his back trying not to make a noise. Then I scared him so bad, he didn’t talk to me after that.

  8. On one foggy morning in Paris, France, there was a crowd of people running up to take pictures of a group of people and their exotic cars on the street. These people take these pictures since they are attracted to the vehicle by its rarity and look. It might be the power, brand, Location of manufacturing, look, style, sleek design and top speed of the car that attracts these people. This creates a problem for the people who own these exotic vehicles since their car is being photographed, someone might have a picture of their car and even of their license plate. This attractiveness of these vehicles makes it even more likely for pedestrian accidents since people run up to the car to take pictures or just want to see the car even if its moving and therefore can cause a crash and can even take a person's life in the accident. The rarity of the car may also attract thieves to the car since they know the owner of the vehicle is of higher class and may have valuables that can be worth a lot of money and target that specific person or their car. The ownership of these exotic cars may also lead to the breach of personal privacy since people will look at the car and even try to look into the car to see who is in it thinking it might be someone famous.

  9. On October 10th an Friday morning in room 126 at Bartels Middle School Mr.Rueth our principal busted in the room and thrusted a letter into Mrs. DeVries hands and as she read the letter you can tell it wasn’t good news. The letter stated that all banned books at Bartels Middle School For the reasons that parents didn’t like their child reading books that had profanted or sexaul context. Almost everybody in our class was mad because we had to give up our books I remember one student saying “ we shouldn’t have to turn in our books that we enjoy reading books we don’t want to. In most perspectives people feel as if banned books are what most people would like to read. Teenagers such as middle schoolers and high school kids just for the facts that there is more action , drama and things most kids can relate to.

He rolled over to turn off his alarm clock, it was 6:30 on a monday morning his mom walked in his room and told him he needed to be up before 9, so he can get his shots for school so he is all caught up on his shots. He set his alarm for 8:25, he rolled back over and feel asleep. He woke up to his alarm going off, so the 8th grade boy got up and got in the shower, got dressed brushed his teeth and ate breakfast, after the boy was done with all that. When we the reporter left the house it took them around 4 minutes to get to the doctors offices. When they got to the building, they had to wait for about 4 mins. Then the nurse came out and told them to come back.when the reporter first got to the back of the building he said “it smelled like rubber gloves. When the boy and his family got to the back the nurse was waiting on them. The nurse’s had to prepare the shot’s and that took like 5 min’s. So the boy read his book, the boy’s little sister went first when she got in the chair she was nervous the reporter could just see it in her eyes, when the doctor gave her,her shot’s all she said was ‘’owe’’ now it's time for for her second pair of shot’s this time she almost cried, next up was the reporters brother.
