  1. Did you know that doctors have been working with seven children to fit them with exoskeletons. They are doing that because they all have several palsies. They have focused on kids at a young age to see if they can help fix it at a young age. Dr. Brue Doblkin “worries worse off children may not be able to get the same treatment” interviewed by Andrew Joseph.

Even though it may seem easy to find the best one there are a lot of different exoskeletons. The first one that was approved by the FDA (The Food and Drug Administration) was the one made by Rewalk. The benefits of the exoskeleton are it can stop secondary injuries from happening. The most common secondary injury is pressure sores. Pressure sars are caused by sitting all the time like in a wheelchair. Pressure sores have to be surgically removed. One person was coming back from such a surgery when he worked with the exoskeleton because he is really dedicated to getting back on his feet. It sounds very very easy like you get it on and walk. But think of it this way you have lost the ability to walk for two years learning to walk again you could almost seem like a little baby learning to walk. Many companys like Ford have had workers try some out. These exoskeletons don’t give them the chance to walk but walk longer. It can also give them “super strength”. This suit gives more strength to there body. Some suit’s you can have a lock right behind the knee and it becomes a chair.

The suites don’t just help people walk but also people with paralysis grab things again it is called the exo-glove it is made of a soft material like rubber and helps them grab things. Many people have been working for a long time on these exoskeletons. They have also been working really hard on them to help other people.

  2. Reading to Children could be Beneficial

Every night a mother and daughter read together. She loves doing this tradition with her mom. Soon later another kid said she should not be reading with her mom because she was too old for it. She told her mom this, and so they stopped, but not too long after that she wanted to resume. She just couldn’t let go of the tradition.

According to studies experts have found that reading to children when they are still young will help improve reading and literature skills. It will also help with their focus and they won’t be as hyperactive or aggressive. Along with accelerated reading, they will be more successful than those who weren’t read to.

A program from New York Times: Reading Aloud to Young Children Has Benefits for Behavior and Attention, has sown that kids in the program being read to on a daily routine have been more successful early and later on than others. Now the kids in the other group have been more hyperactive and need to catch up to everyone else in school.

When you start reading to your child it would be best to start from birth. This will grow their love for books and reading. According to Nan Brien, “children need that experience with language from the time they are born”. All in All, reading may be beneficial to your child at school and at home. Should you read to your kid?

  3. Study shows that people should be able to commit suicide but you will hurt other people at the same
time people should be able to die if they want. They could be suffering really bad or suffering if a family member past. These are reasons why most people Do PAS one of them could be loss of autonomy which is (91.4 percent) or decreased ability to engage and enjoy that is (86.7 percent of people) or loss of dismay (71.4 percent of people). Another reason why is loss of bodily function (49.5 percent) ,becoming a burden on others (40 percent) people think you should do what you want These data and common arguments for and against PAS are discussed with an emphasis on the tension between values such as maximizing patient autonomy and adhering to professional obligations well as the need for additional research.

Psychological forces offal beyond control of individuals. People should not kill themselves unless they are really sick some people say it can impact on your kids or grandkids PAS should be for older people unless your really sick and have like a cancer or diseases. That you can't fight anymore than you just so sick you can't move. People do it because they are suffering and they need to be in a better place and so they are not suffering anymore and if it is what they want to be they should be able and there family should support their dishin.

  4. Medical Marijuana
Ramsey Castleberry, 8, is known in autism circles as a “runner”. He tears off his clothes and is sometimes found later in the neighbor’s yard or on the roof. He’s put his head through screen doors and has flooded his house so many times his parents gave up on a carpet. Castleberry wants to do everything she can to help her boys have a normal childhood. But there's one promising remedy she hasn't been able to try, marijuana.

In many states medical marijuana is legal, but it’s not legal all over the united states. Missouri, Oklahoma, Utah, and Minnesota all approved medical marijuana. Minnesota is using medical marijuana to treat Alzheimer's. All over North America, states and countries are legalizing medical marijuana. Canada legalized marijuana this year (2018).

Michigan is the first to approve medical marijuana. Lousiana first allowed medical marijuana back in 1978 for use by glaucoma, and cancer patients.

All over the globe medical marijuana is getting legalized. South Korea and Thailand made medical marijuana legal.

Steve Griffin said” salt lake, Utah is sweeping medical marijuana with a compromise bill”. A lot of sates are going to put a bill, or fee on medical marijuana.

Is medical marijuana going to be a big part of our helth organitaion.

  5. Chant’e Haskins a 16 year old girl growing up she never attended a school that required uniforms. She had a dress code or course, but she was not restricted to a specific outfit. That all changed when she chose to move with her dad. In Prince George County, Maryland where all public schools had to wear uniforms. She thought as a 16 year old teenager the world was ending.

In many states students are required to wear uniforms to school. About 26.1% of students worldwide are wearing school uniforms. About 1.1% from 2017 and continues a consistent trend.

Schools require uniforms for different reasons. Quartz notes that New York City’s Success Academy uses uniforms as a practical cost-effective option to create a sense of community.

CEO Deborah Weinswig states, “ that uniforms restrict individuality, there expensive and that they are too old fashioned.”

According to BBC, “ schools should not dictate what uniforms are for what gender.”
Ministers around the world are consulting on how to help make uniforms cheaper.
One idea was limiting school logos on clothes.

Is school uniforms going to spread enough to the point where every school is required to wear uniforms.

  6. Cell Phone Radiation
Cell phone radiation is a national rising problem. In many cases it has caused brain tumors. The same thing had happened to a young girl named Aussie. Roxli Doss was diagnosed with a serious brain tumor in June of 2017, and doctors told her parents that there wasn't a cure. Sadly She had died 9 months later. Radiation isn't always good, you experience it all day from the electrons and protons in atoms, but when there is to much radiation its not good. Radiation affects your DNA which causes a tumor. Dana Farber says “sleep with your phones across the room from you.” Radiation causes cancerous tumors in your brain that could appear 20-30 years after. It turns out that, just like our phones radiation, microwaves, radars, radio waves all have similar radiation. So when you can it would be best to stay away from non-natural radiation. It isn't always safe. “Remember wireless isn’t safe, that's not a opinion it's a fact. Stay safe and keep your family safe.”

  7. This is a story about a shooting. A guy named bradford had a concealed handgun and he was trying to get away. He was trying to wave people over to safety but the police came in then saw the gun and shot him and he died.

You may be surprised to find with concealed carry the overall death count with guns is 33,000, ⅔ are suicides and 7,105 are handgun homicide. With states that do background checks there is 35% less murders with guns. With the murderers 33% of guns were reported stolen 44% where unknown. They reported that 237,000 guns were reported missing in 2016. In 2016 people thought it was hard to find if concealed gun carry deceased gun crimes.

  8. Hunting deer for venison makes birds thrive
Everytime they go hunting they hunt the deer for venison. When they hunt the deer for venison birds thrive because the deer die and the birds have more food cause the deer eat the bird food. Deer play a part in health of woodlands ecosystem. The deer population was damaging natural habitats and hurting bird numbers. There are about 2 million deer in the UK. A spokesman from animal rights group said “that deer should be treated with respect”. The 1963 deer act gave the animals protection and who could shoot them and how. All the four birds are on the RSPB's list. Animal rights group animal aid said the move would be “highly unethical”. Humans have caused deer populations to increase. The number of deer populations has doubled since 1999. The nightingale would benefit from the deer cull says the nottingham academic. What is your opinion on hunting deer for venison makes brds thrive.

  9. Capital Punishment in the U.S.
Kirk Johnson a reporter at The New York Times composed an article on the death penalty in Washington State. The state supreme court deemed “capital punishment unconstitutional.” in an interview with Ted S. Warren with associated press.

Eighteenth-century B.C. first death penalty laws were made. Captain George Kendall is the first recorded execution in the New Colonies. 1,480 people have been executed by lethal injection since 1977. August 14, 2018, Nebraska authorities executed a prisoner for the first time in over 2 decades. “10 out of 30 states with the death penalty have not exercised it in at least a decade,” said Casey Leins of U.S. News. 20 states have banned capital punishment. Wisconsin has had the death penalty in over 150 years, which is longer than any other state. The 1800s was Wisconsin's first and only legal execution.

People believe that capital punishment is unconstitutional while others believe it depends on the situation and circumstances. What do you think?

  10. Cancer the sickness everyone fears fears! Does it come from cell phones? Cell phones do generate radiation it's called radiofrequency
Waves or radio wave . this has lead to people speculating if it causes cancer . According to WWW.Cancer.Org cell phones work by sending signals to nearby cell towers . this is the same type of wave used to send messages like microwaves do as well as your am and fm radio but these usually emit enough radiation to cause cancer these cell phone waves are much different from other much stronger rf waves such as x rays gamma rays and ultraviolet (uv) waves these waves are strong enough to break chemical bond also known as DNA .But people are still speculating if it causes cancer some studies show that cell phones can cause tumors skin cancer and testicular cancer but other studies show it doesn't so what do you believe do cellphones cause cancer ?

  11. David Earl Miller got the electric chair on December 6 2018 for murdering 23 year old Lee Standifer back in 1981, that's the latest case of execution this year. The first execution of the year execution of 2018 was Anthony Allen Shore, who got lethal injection for his crime of murdering a women & 3 girls “When he was pronounced dead i think i felt happy that he was no longer being hurt” said assistant federal defender Jennifer Garcia. This is one of the many comments people said from witnessing executions. “I was pro death penalty, i thought it was the most appropriate punishment for certain crimes” said Michelle Lyon, who has witnessed over 300 executions since she was 18 years old.

In recent studies they found that a prison spends an average of $4.2 million. If they wouldn't have executions it would save them about $10 million. The highest state with executions, is Texas, there's been about 12 in this year. Currently there are 8 states wanting to ban or stop executions, to “get on the trend”. In Wisconsin there's only been about 1 execution back in 1851, the execution was for a guy named John McCaffary who had hung his wife back in 1850. Their steps for dealing with this matter is to not let other states proceed with there executions until they know if whether to ban it or not.

  12. Pets are a good thing to have in a family, but should kids own them?some parents don't like the idea of their children owning a dog or cat. Because of this kids won't learn how to be responsible or know how to take care of something. Some reasons parents don't let kids own pets is because of allergies and how much money it costs to buy one and then you have to buy other things for them like, food, bowls, collars, accessories, and others and it all costs money.

Other parents think its a good idea for their kids to own pets and not because it just teaches their kids responsibility. Because it's something everyone can enjoy you, your family, friends, maybe even your neighbors too.
It may take awhile to get used to owning a pet, but remember it doesn't have to be a cat or dog. There's a variety of different choices, some are big and some are small others short and others tall. It all depends on the animal you choose like reptiles, creepy crawlies, and some birds depending on where you live or stick with a dog and cat.

There are a lot of different steps in taking care of an animal. Some are easier than others but they all have one thing in common and that's time. It takes time when it comes too pets because they have to get used to their new homes and owners sometimes they get scared because its too loud or their afraid of you and they need comforting and time to warm up to you.
Another thing besides time is patients. You and your pet may not get along right away so you need to have patients with them, it takes a while for animals to get used to you and your house so be patient and slowly let them get used to their new surroundings, especially if your training them to learn how to do tricks.

Pets are more than just a pet there your companion, pets are a friend that will never leave your side and will always be there for you. If you want a pet that is a great companion to have at your side, cats are very quiet and always love your affection other pets have different uses but the most popular pets are the cats and dogs and will always love you.
