DeleteThe fact that I choose was that there is children in Minnesota that are 2 and under and getting poisened by liquid nicotine. Parents should't let their children have liquid nicotine even if it was on accident.

ReplyDeleteI don't think that the parents left the cigarettes out in the open for 2 year olds. Also how would they have known how to turn them on. Most two 2 year olds probably not even know that they go in their mouth.

DeleteThe fact that stood out to me the most was that 6th graders had been smoking normal cigarettes and they had switched to e-cigarettes. The person that reported that was from an e-cigarette company and he thought that it was good news.

ReplyDeleteE-Cigarettes do not just emit "water vapor". Secondhand e-cigarette areosol (incorrectly called vapor by industry) contains nicotine, ultrafine paritcles and low level toxins that are known to cause cancer.

Once i saw a guy riding his bike and he was trying to act all cool but he was smoking a pink girly bubble gum cigarrette. I wouldnt have noticed it, but i was with my brother ( did i mention that, I don't think i did but anyway) and he said that he was smoking a bubble gum flavored e cig, soooooo yahhhhhhh, that was different. But it still does haunt that me they are trying to sell kids cigarettes.

DeleteIn Minnosota, 29 e-cigarettes and nicotine poisoning cases were called to poison control in 2013 for children two and under. My reaction was why are parents making those kids have e-cigarettes, that's just forcing them to get into a bad habit.
