February 5, 2014 - Digital Learning Day
When the scientists at JPL needed to tell Opportunity to save all of it's resources and basically shut down for 3 days during the dust storm on Mars, they told it using computer code. In fact, all of the messages to the rovers were written in computer code. But what is code?
Let's take some time during digital learning day to explore computer code. When you are done, write a blog entry about what you saw, learned, did today.

I think that it's a pretty cool thing to do on free time and during school.

ReplyDeleteI did the the Javescript coding program.i saw a lot of this thingi ". I learned that coding is hard and if you write a command that the computer doesn't know it is an error.
