The book Malala. I want to talk about the part where they were poor. I thought that they were not poor. I think that they were not poor. The part that I thought was interesting so far was that her dad had a lot of jobs and they were still poor. I think that he didn't need that many jobs. I think that they would not be poor for that many jobs but I think that his jobs didn't pay him that much
ReplyDeleteI think that even if they seemed like they were poor, they might have not a big house or do stuff that makes them not spend a lot of money.
DeleteI don't agree because even though her father had more than a couple jobs, they were all in the school, and Malala's father ran the school, so It wasn't as if he was working for someone else, they still were poor though.
DeleteI agree, Malala's father most likely wasn't paid a lot for his jobs. Although he did work a lot and help many people, being poor was probably the least of his concerns. Keeping his family safe was probably his main concern.
DeleteI want to talk about the part where the Qurans came to Malala's house and questioned her father about how he was running his school, because he was not supposed to let girls have any education.

DeleteI want to talk about the part where Radio Mullah was telling people what they should do and if they didn't they would get punished.I thought why would people listen to him, when he was just saying women cant go anywhere alone without a man, or girls shouldn't go to school.The part that I thought was more interesting so far was when Radio Mullah was saying girls shouldn't go to school and one by one the school girls were dropping out and then the teachers said they wouldn't teach anymore, and then Father went on a journey to go speak to Fazlullah.What do you think?

DeleteI want to talk about the part in Malala where Malala had gone to school but she knew she wasn't able to come back. I thought it got intresting when girls weren't able to go to school anymore. I thought that it impacted Malala alot when that happened. What do you think? The part that i thought was most intresting for me was how Malala tried to change the right for girls go to school. I think she did the right thing for females to get a good education.

DeleteI want to talk about the part where Malala had went to the school and was told she couldnt go back home because girls were not allowed to have an education.I thought that Malala is a very good and inspirational person because of the things she did for all the girls out there that didnt have any rights. The part when she spoke up for the girls was most interesting for me because of how much she changed, and even though she got shot, she still fought for her and many of girls rights, and she made a huge difference by doing so. DeleteI think that She was also very brave for sticking up for the girls in Pakistan who couldn't go to school, but wanted to, when she got shot, she also didnt back down.

DeleteI thought the same thing. Although, she was probably afraid of what the outcomes were gonna be, she still spoke up for something that was right, and almost died in the process. Which is a huge thing to do.

I thought that by going to school they could have gotten hurt or even killed. Around there town there have been a lot of suicide bombings on other schools, so why would they still go. ReplyDeleteI think that the girls just want to be able to go to school without getting threatened to get shot or killed. Thereś not much you can do without going to school and getting educated, you wouldnt know anything.
DeleteI think it would've been very dangerous to go to school when the Taliban are constantly bombing everyone that stands in their way, some of those girls were brave to risk their lives to get a good education
DeleteIt was probably terrifying for the girls going to school knowing they could get killed at any minute, but I feel they were probably so eager to get an education and excited to learn that it might not have fazed them.

ReplyDeleteI want to talk about why girls can't go to school. Girls are going to school the same reason guys are going. Girls and guys are going so they can get an education. It was sad reading about how many girls couldn't go to school in her town. Malala did the right things trying to change the right for girls to go to school.
ReplyDeleteI agree, she did the right thing. Even if she thought that their would be a not so great outcome, she still did it so she can speak up for what´s right.
